With the UK’s 50% APD cut for domestic travel starting, Ryanair is opening nine new domestic UK flights.
The new domestic routes are to/from Belfast, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Edinburgh. East Midlands, London, Manchester and Newquay.
Reservations for the UK flights are now live on the Ryanair website.
Ryanair says the expansion marks 95% growth of its UK domestic schedule compared to last summer.
It represents 74 weekly flights.
“Reducing APD will result in market growth in the UK, and these new routes show just that,” the airline said.
The new services include five Belfast routes to Cardiff, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Manchester and Stansted.
The airline again called for the complete scrapping of APD ‘to provide incentives for airlines like Ryanair to stimulate growth and recovery.’
