Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou has sent fans into a frenzy after sharing a throwback photo from her childhood.
In the snap shared to Instagram, the actress had her crimped hair pulled back in an ‘80s style, with a Madonna-inspired lace bow holding it up. She had a small, wispy fringe that sat in the middle of her forehead and put on a big toothy smile.
“What do we think of this young girl? And how’s the hair,” Ada wrote in the caption, followed by two laughing emojis.
Fans said the 45-year-old was ‘beautiful’, with many saying that she ‘hadn’t aged a day’. Her Instagram post was liked by Home and Away’s Kirsty Marillier (Rose Delaney), with current and former co-stars gushing over her vintage look.
“I LOVE the hair,” wrote Georgie Parker, who plays Roo Stewart on the soap.
“I try to get my hair like that every day!!!!” commented close friend Lynne McGranger, best known for her role as Irene Roberts.
Demi Harman, who played Sasha Bezmel from 2011 to 2015, added: “Bring back the hair!”
Many fans were amazed by how similar she looked to her 10-year-old son Johnas.
“Spitting image of your son,” one fan pointed out.
“Omg your son is [a] stamp of you,” another added.
“Your little boy strongly resembles you,” a third chimed in.
“Wow! Johnas looks like you a lot. You were so cute, and [love] this hair,” another remarked.
Ada’s ‘unrecognisable’ The Matrix role
This comes after a photo from Ada’s The Matrix cameo resurfaced in Home and Away fan groups.
The star, who has played Leah Patterson on the soap since 2000, had a small but important role in the film.
A fan shared the photo of Ada as her goth-styled character Dujour on a Facebook fan group, writing: “Ada Nicodemou aka Home and Away’s Leah was in The Matrix. Dunno how many times I’ve watched those movies and never realised lmfao, she was so young back then.”
The star looked completely different, wearing her hair piled into a high-top bun along with a blunt-cut fringe.
Showing off her figure in a tight black latex crop top and multiple rings around her neck, the actress also sported bright red eyeshadow and a red lip.
The character is also known as the ‘white rabbit girl’, due to the small white rabbit tattoo found on the back of her left shoulder.
This ends up being a pivotal scene, with Dujour leading the main character Neo to Trinity at a club.
